All jokes aside, I have the utmost respect and love for black women. Everyday I am frustrated with the way black women are portrayed on TV in movies etc., but i REALLY think that all these BKYLN Babylon posts are misdirected.<P>People have to understand that this film is done within a certain context. Its based on real life events in Crown heights & all the racial tension there. Yall really need to stop condemning Tariq and breaking your ROOTS CDs over a movie nobody has seen yet. It is a stretch to say that his character kissing a jewish woman is degrading to sistas. I’m not promoting interacial relationships (or condmning them).
