As far as avoiding deletion from the okayartist board.<BR>Here goes:<BR>1.You post about something where the answer can EASILY be found in the archives or in a thread or on the updates page.<BR>2.You post a subject that already has a thread about it..(IE. posting about what you think Dangelo's new single should be when you should really just write a REPLY to D's initial thread..posting about Voodoo being #1 when there already is a thread about it..etc.etc..<P>3.Posting with the subject line saying "Questlove read this"(If you have a question directly for him email askquest22@aol.com)..."Hub read this.." etc..this is clearly against the guidelines..the board is not a tool that is to be used directly to contact a band member..DONT do this.<P>4.You post about something that does NOT pertain to any of the okayplayer artists..those being Common Roots Dangelo Jazziefatnastees and the featured artist.<P>I copied this from a previous thread..but people never read you know.<P>As far as posting and interacting on the board in general..just try to be honest, but if you plan on bringing an opinion you KNOW people will disagree with, come prepared with support for your argument..y'all have the right to have any opinion, but remember everyone has the right to disagree with your opinion..its not hating.<BR>This is why we get those longass threads over and over again that turn into dissfests.<P>I'm sure Improv can add alot more, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THE ARCHIVES!!!!<BR>80% of your answers are there.<BR>I will add more, but I am going to Florida tommorow..<BR>no boards for me<BR>no computers<BR>no okayadmin<BR>just sunshine.<P><BR>Peace,<BR>Steve<P>Your post will get deleted IF you dont read: <a href="http://www.okayplayer.com/dcforum/general1/3292.html" target="_blank">http://www.okayplayer.com/dcforum/general1/3292.html<;/a>
