It amazes me that we (meaning black people) will work as servants to known "enemies" but refuse to deal with some of our own because of "differences". There is enough money out there for black artists to be independant, establish black labels & begin making inroads into distribution (which will require some hardball tactics since shit like that has a heavy mob affiliation).<P>Being that in the end, the music still has to sell the record (despite what they tell you, if nobody likes the songs, nobody buys the records)...and that black music is/will continue to be in heavy demand....Why aren't more black artists reaping the benefits of their work & the black community financially rewarded for the products of our communities?
