Sure you have the Ani DiFrancos of the world but being an artist and running a business is not the same thing., Some artists would be successful at running business, but many more would be horrible at it. Just think about all the artists that started their own labels and then think about how many artists actually dud anything worthwhile with those labels.<P>This new technology, however, gives artists a new chance of cutting out the middle man.
