I mean, thanx for the knowledge, but I just think if Artist did the whole DO IT YA DAMN SELF, the dividends in the long run would be better, ain't that what its all about? Music and the message? I still love Common & The Roots despite putting out 3 albums with increasing success each time and then jumping ship from one major label to another. I would think both artists have the fanbase to go independant or do some sort of 50/50 distribution deal like The Coup & Public Enemy.
