You're either (1) listening to a hip-hop group OTHER THAN The Roots, or (2) having a hard time comprehending what REAL hip-hop music is all about. <P>I can't even say that Black Thought's lyrics improved since their first album, because he's ALWAYS been ILL as hell! Not only him, but EVERY emcee who puts it down with them comes ill! You can't be trying to say that their live instrumentals have gotten "weaker" because that's the main ingredient that makes this group as untouchable as they are.
