The only thing I don't like about Malik is he always sounds like he trying so damn hard. He comes up with some tight flows, but he forces to many rhymes. See "I used to ive life like there was no manyana/now I'm treating every breath like it was an honor" That's a clunky line. If anyone should try to be a little less intricate, it's him. It would avoid the awkwardnes.
Otherwise, though, I disagree. Tight flows, cool voice, will occasionally drop a B.D.F.O.L. (bug da F out line). Plus, one of my favorite parts of TFA is at the end of "Spark"--"This is what it's all about." That just sounds cool.
Bryan
aim=bshelly24
Last albums purchased:
--Curtis Mayfield "Roots"
--Yo La Tengo "And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out"
"UH-OH, UH-OH. UH-OOOOOOH, UH-OH.
