people come on here and think that just because they have an opinion, the whole world wants to know about it. quest has an incredibly hectic schedule and STILL finds the time everyday to try and address every question he can on the boards. now tell me this.. you want him to reply kindly to everything when the same questions are posted over and over and people can't read the archives? what about when someone disses something he's spent a lot of time working on, (i.e., shows, albums, reviews, the diary, etc.)? how would you like it if your EVERY move was critiqued? his work is like his child.. and if it was me and someone was insulting my child, i'd definitely come back strong. most of the time, he's too easy on people anyhow. now i'm not saying you have to agree with him all the time..or any of the time. hell, you could HATE his music, for all i care.. but there is something called respect. and tact. you could say.. "you know, i really don't think that this song is good for so and so reasons.." vs. "questlove is WACK." everyone around here knows that quest is always down for a good music debate/discussion, as long as its brought along in the right fashion.

alright, the original post that i made was not meant to be an absolute criticism and put down of quest. it was merely an observation about a supposed change in attitude of quest. i understand that he's touring with d'ang and he's doing this and that with other artists, but it seemed like before (even when touring with the roots and working on d'ang's and com's albums) he still would be considerate (and i imagine he had bad days then). please don't take what i'm saying now or what i said in the original post as something negative, but as something that i'd like to hear thoughts upon. a personal attack on quest was neither my want nor my intention. my mistake if i made it seem that way. just wanted to clarify for all y'all that thought i was hatin'.
