on that lil steive question, the comp you're thinking of is the strength mag comp. i've never heard it but i'm pretty sure that the skaters just did intros and the like, didn't actually have tracks. i know stevie is tight with a hip-hop crew called lost souls of babylon though. another interesting note, scratch was in stevie's video part in underworld elements "fine artists vol. 1". he's doing what only he can do in love park with stevie standing right there giving him daps.
i've never heard anyone claim that skating is another element of hip-hop and if they did i wouldn't agree. but the two are very closely related. for those that doubt, check the zoo york's "mixtape" video, rb umali's "peep this" and "heads" or the true mathematics video. peace
