That's the best thing about the song because you get to listen to that sexy ass bass line w/o vocals. And I take it that you didn't like Maze back in the day because they were notorious for long intros. Or maybe you're not old enough to know them.

WTF!!!?? Again, that's the beauty of the song. Don't you know that repetition (and stop-time and call & response) is a technique that has been used in black music since it's beginning. It comes directly from African music. We brought that here from the Mother Land. >
