That's how I understood his lyrics too, that he's tryin' to get past the trouble alcohol has brought him in the past. I'm not trying to act like I know the man either...I just sense a struggle when I hear his rhymes. I never said everything he says is the TRUTH, but I wonder, if he doesn't struggle with alcohol, why all the references?? Like I said before--I'm not tryin' to start shit..
