New Paltz is a small community about 90miles north of NYC... it is the home of SUNY New Paltz / University at New Paltz. The town is near woodstock, and not too surprisingly has a hippie-ish vibe. The area also has a very large "progressive" hip hop (or whatever the kids are calling it these days) following. The school has had large turn outs to see Mobb Deep, and our own home made Lyricist Lounge. I understand that the tour is planning on hitting some colleges, so I ask that you consider New Paltz.
