...all you people who are, everyday, praising ?uest and Common and D'Angelo, etc., then as soon as something doesn't come out the way you think it should you:
a) assume it's because one or all of them made a bad decision.
b) pass your personal taste off as legitimate criticism.
and/or
c) forget that there are ALWAYS outside factors.

This goes for the the "Ghetto Heaven" remix, the Okayplayer Tour, drama getting into Black Lily, the oft-delayed Kweli-Hi Tek site, and on down the line.

Obviously, I'm not talking about everyone. You know who you are. And some of this is to be expected, even encouraged in this family atmosphere. But come on, people. You have to take it for granted that these creative minds know what they are doing. You don't have to like everything they do, but as fans you should respect it. Else, what the eff you doing here?

BTW, I thought the album version was a little tired and clichéd. So effing what?
