I think they will take things to the next level, as they have all improved musically - and Black Thought's vocal consistency can only be accentuated by a new twist in the composition of the next album.
?uestlove's production skills are being honed with each new project he takes on, and I'm certain the Soulquarian artists' influence/inspiration will be evident.
I don't think the Roots will ever get as wild as Outkast with the pace of the music but I do think they'll come through with something futuristic while still staying true to their roots.
