While it is nice to see Talib's side of the story, the entire episode has left a bad taste in my mouth. The weird thing is, the bad impression I am left with is Talib's constant use of the word "bitch" in his post. He is very obviously using it to describe 3rd Rail as feminine and weak. I love how supposedly enlightened men can't seem to grasp this point. When white folk drop n-bombs to describe anyone, it is obviously wrong, and Kweli would agree. So how is it that men feel justified in using a word that solely defines women in a negative light and use it to put other men down? Time to do a little examining of self, I'd say.
