my problem with this is that all these cats are writers, as is black thought. delivery aside, thought has as keen an eye and individual a writing style as the above-named emcees. shakespeare didn't have to live out each one of his plays. but thought only flexes those specific muscles sporadically, on cuts like 'panic?!?!', or the love joints..he's like nas with the vivid detail but he projects the narratives out at you too. dunno, brother seems like he's got much more to say, more techniques to display - but he isn't standing still either..or maybe it's like the jbeez song 'so much shit inside my brain, couldn't explain, you wouldn't understand'. but somebody said somewhere you're gonna drop a bomb you don't want to muffle the bang with just 'eh.' lyrics, or vice versa with the music.
