only if it has a certain hook/sound that connects with the marketplace. stations lately determine how long they bang something based more on requests, callout research, consumer feedback.

yeah, so did Pharoahe Monch & MOP - both had hits and both didn't get a plaque. Black Rob had a big-ass hit and went platinum. There are of course exceptions to the rule which I always stated when I first put my theory out there. Most of the data supports my theory though so my batting average is should be kinda high.
