but sorry yo, that's a kinda cliche video. that's like "let's take digable planets and make it brighter, in full color." i'm all about creativity in videos, and yo, the tiny smoke-filled club? what is this, 92?

keep in mind, i'm not saying i fully endorsed the "ghetto heaven" video, because it really didn't go anywhere.

but "funky for you" is a HELL of a song, and it coulda made a ver visually interesting video. i still think the "ghetto heaven remix" was a HUGE mistake on the part of MCA records. sorry label guy, but it's true, "funky for you" woulda been another plaque. i also think it might have had more universal appeal than ghetto heaven, and while the remix had a HELL of a beat, i think funky for you woulda had more longevity, espec. on the radio and in the clubs.
