The Roots next LP is beginning to take shape, and the group is scurrying to have it ready for a tentative June 2002 release date; titles being mentioned are Introducing The Roots, and Phrenology. They have currently recorded seven tracks, and want to complete at least five more. The group is also still debating on what track will be the lead-single, and the candidates right now are “Rock Ya”, and “Pussy Galore.” Meanwhile, Black Thought’s highly anticipated solo-LP has been given a tentative Feb 2002 release date.
