"SO NOW WHAT" you might ask.

I have a passes... a GANG of em.... 1 ticket is good for two people... I will be IN WASHINGTON D.C. the day of the show. Since I'm a grad of Howard University, and it's Homecoming weekend, I'm coming home.

SO... if you want these passes, meet me at the FLAG POLE on the main campus (of Howard U.). You can't miss it. It's in front of Founders Library, Douglas Hall, and Locke Hall, in the middle of the campus. Be there at 6:15 PM !!!!!

I'll hand out passes from the front of the line on back until I run out!!!!! Kweli was right, I wanted the whole planet to be at the show.

It's a pain in the ass... but I'd love for someone to care about my ability to see a free concert, when pockets are flat, when commercial mainstrean music is wack, and I'm a fan of okayplayer... and the artists that are performing... Why not, huh?!

But if cats are 'wildin out' about these damn passes when I get there, I will be like 'EFF IT'... and climb my ass into a bunk on the tour bus and go to sleep before the show. Then party back stage and get twisted (My drinking buddy, Jag quit drinkin. Darn.) on drinks. I know I'LL be there... so I hope these people work with me cause I REALLY don't have to do it. It is going to be off the hook. Word spreads fast particularly, in this area. Alot of folks been trying to figure out how they might be able to score tickets since tickets weren't sold, etc. There will definitely be a line but I think the line will primarily be HU students b/c all the rest of us who would like to go, are either coming from out of town or from work (I live in DC) and will be rather difficult to make it to the campus at that time of day w/ traffic, etc.

Can I meet you today, please!!! I wanna go so bad. I thought I hit the jackpot when I saw your post yesterday although, part of me knew it was too good to be true. I just nee 1 pass to admit me and my Baby. PLEASE!!!!! I'll do anything. Maybe you can fed-ex me a pass. :)

what would have been an easy way to do this would have been to print out the guestlist and those who were on the list could get a ticket at the pole first since we had alreayd signed up..
