If I'm not mistaken, but The Roots last album went Gold,Common's last album went Gold, Mos & Kweli's solo projects went Gold, and a plethara of other artist, whom represent the hiphop cultural, at least in my estimation, have also achieved Gold status.

Nelly, I think is a mediocre artist that make hit song, instead of classic, quality music like ----------------------------
