--actually this aint the first tragedy to happen on okayplayer (member when the equipment truck totaled in denver and all of our shit was spread out on the highway?)

--funny thing is in the 12 years i've had living on a tourbus i never had a worry of bus accidents. and in light of the gloria estefan 1990 mishap and the j5 accident of 98---i kinda felt real safe in a bus.

so noid was i that i slept downstairs on the couch (europe has double decker buses like "spiceworld" the movie)

I have expressed thiz enough to bandz dat have came through my spot or have told me horror storiez like thiz. A few have actually decided ta make dat move & pay for a second driver but some people are too hardhead to do so.

being as though we utilized all 9 major bus companies in the states---i haven't heard of any accidents of this nature occuring on this level (metalica, j5 and gloria withstanding)---

it is customary for one driver to handle a trip and rarely does a situation occur that a show is booked so far away that the artist does not fly there as opposed to sit for a 20 hour ride.

he had a 2 day lead and by law drivers cant clock in over 8 hours in europe. so 2 drivers aren't needed because by law (and boy are they anal) they cannot drive more than 9 hours in a row.

I mean, look at it like this.. you've never felt scared in ALL the damn touring you've done. This one made you nervous and this one you slept downstairs and this one your adrenaline was pumping through your heart once a night on some.. 'this busdriver is gonna crash'.
