i don't even think res herself would claim to be an r&b artist. she strikes me more as alt-rock.

point is, it's not whether jag's album is so good or her peers are so bad. it's both. LOL. jag has a good album AND a lot of her peers in r&b are lacking.

i don't think too many people would argue that it's the best r&b album released so far this year. the raphael saadiq album is coming though...
