Repups wanted to not give ANY stimulus money
Dems wanted to not give ANY tax breaks to the rich.
They compromised.
Pelosi and Shumer explained exactly that.
This is what always happens. Sadly, this is how U.S. government works. There has never been any such thing as an earmark-free bill.
