..While its true that the NYC hospitals, morgues, MEs are all besieged during this crisis, it is NOT true that bodies must be cremated or buried the same day.

*That's why they've dispatched every possible alternative (including refrigerated trailers), to give people time to make the necessary adjustments. At SOME point, immediate cremation very well may be the only option, but we have not reached that barrier yet. People are working vigorously to avoid that.

Funeral arrangements currently depend on the city/state. In SOME cases, people have been allowed LIMITED access (ie: immediate family only). In NYC and Ohio, families were given the option to have the burial or cremated (with limited viewing/visitation).

I know this because unfortunately, my family has already cancelled 2 funerals in the past 3 weeks.
