If this were a real hate crime, wouldn’t it be correct to say that the perpetrators victimized not just Jussie, but the entire gay and black communities, essentially terrorizing them?

If so, it would seem to me that Jussie owes the members of those communities an apology, as his ruse, in order to be successful, depended on successfully wreaking that same terror among those marginalized groups.

It’s really fucking foul.
