1. The article does not confirm that it happened as reported, it just states dude came home beat up with a noose around his neck.
2. Also does not say "suspects" were caught on tape. It says "persons of interest". The term can mean suspects and witnesses.
I dont put a lot of stock in folks tweeting about seeing him in the club, but i do read the police statements carefully and they are wording it very carefully. Their was so much blow back from the use of the word "possibly" a hate crime, but it is probably because they have doubts about the story.
