A microwave radiation isn't a radioactive material, it's a wave of invisible light just like UV (aka the sun light) that activates water molecules to heat up your meal *sigh*

Putting food under UV light doesn't give you skin cancer, standing in the suns does! The same is true for microwave.

I have a neighbor whose girl refuses to use a microwave b/c she heard some Dr Oz bs & made him throw it out. Now dude is knocking on my door when he want to heat out something in a hurry b/c the toaster oven takes a while to fire up.
