Perhaps you had a slight bias against white people to begin with. Or you had a preference for black men. If so....it would have taken a SPECIAL guy for you to make an exception. So....the reason the white guy happened to be nicer than all the other boyfriends is because he HAD to be nicer just to get a foot in the door.

Does that make sense? That you would've only given a white guy a chance if he was so good that he overcame any bias or preference you had that was working against him. So by definition, ANY white guy you end up dating will have had to meet higher standards to begin with.
