Granted I can't relate since my wife is pretty easy going when it comes to that sort of thing and she apparently didn't get this phantom gene most other black women seem to have that precludes them from accepting food cooked by another woman. I say that based on your statement, as I've never seen this manifest in any other black women I've ever known.

Honestly I doubt homeless shelters would take it. Maybe a friend outside your work circle? Otherwise, take it, smile, and toss it into a plant, clean the dish at work if it's something she'll need returned and call it a day.
