At the end of the day I just want to to see black children conduct themselves with regard for their own safety in the face of those who have little regard for it as there is more than enough information and evidence out there to know what we're dealing with.

Will that prevent all cases such as this or worse from happening --no, but it will lower the occasions for them to happen. There are other students who can also reap injustice based on their ethnicity (I'm looking at you middle easterners, Indians, and Pakistanis) and odds are were they in a situation such as this it may not have gotten to this level and there's something I think we as black people can learn from that.
