As long as people "own" these double standards shit will never change. The tables will never turn. What sense does turning the tables make anyway? It's about shit being equally wrong and consequences and stigma being the same regardless of gender.

Almost reminds me of a local gender equality/ anti gbv activist I know laughing at a Facebook post years ago about a woman beating up a man after he proposed to her in public (the corniest of acts imo). I called her out in the post and she was like...."yeah you're right ". Smh
