This will be all speculation and all BS and I watch too many movies BUT....
I really think the wife has a much more important role than is being led on...
She appears from nowhere.. dude goes to Saudi Arabia and just comes back with a wife? THEY dropped baby off... regardless of whether dude went to party, got mad, then left.. She was lying in wait...
