i only have anecdotal experience having handled dozens of domestic battery cases representing the accused batterers. i rarely see cases involving gay men - most of them involving romantic relationships are man/woman couples and woman/woman couples.

but the fact that i don't see many gay men couples in court doesn't necessarily mean gay men aren't involved in domestic violence. there could be external factors that keep gay men from reporting or prevent the police from arresting. i dunno.
