im just telling you how most men think. key word. MOST. maybe yours is different. but i doubt it & he aint gonna tell you the real deal as he knows you'll prolly start crying & threatening to move out because its "driving you crazy"
you are 100% entitled to your emotions on the subject & all that but men are...more binary then women. IMO.
to him its:
wife wants a cat v. mama giving us a house
he prolly thinks BOTH of you are being hella petty & i bet he REALLY doesnt wanna argue the subject w/ NEITHER of you
so he tells you what you wanna hear & the same for her
does it even matter?
