w/the kind of clothes you have your kids in.
No disrespect, but ESPECIALLY as black men, we need to be conscious of our appearance at all times. That applies to:
Clothes
Carriage
Voice/Word choice/etc
Manners.
I wish we were all living in the kumbaya/bennington/post-racial paradise of the future, but we ain't and until we are - you need to arm yourself and your kin with the tools to survive in the reality that we CURRENTLY exist in.
From what you described, I'm not sure that you're doing that.
