I went into the bank and reported it stolem and they told me they had footage, but couldn't let me see it, I called the detective and he told me that he went there and talked with the branch manager.

i've lost my debit card enough times and i deal with 1 bank and 2 credit unions. the bank will ask you a security question before any business is discussed. some tough shit like your favorite restaurant, lol. the credit union will have you verify your identity with a series of questions and THEN mail you a new pin or card, or whatever it is youre looking for. nothing on the spot. they don't know your pin like that and they can't change it for you. they can reset it but that shit takes time to receive. i waited a week and a half for my new pin once.

security and wouldn't change your pin unless you were stranded on the
side of the road and half dead. M&T wouldn't change your shit, Citizens
wouldn't change your shit, BoA wouldn't change your shit, PNC wouldn't
change your shit... It wouldn't happen. Philly is one of the cities
that is most associated with fraud and the banks in the area know that.
In the OFF chance that they decided they should change the pin to help
you(which they wouldn't do if you're there in person) they would have to
have approval from at least a manager. So this shit would run through
at least 2-3 levels. This story is bullshit.

I'm not debating whether the OP's story is true or not, but I can walk to my credit union and change my PIN without having to wait for a new one in the mail. When I lost my debit card, they sent me a new one with a PIN assigned, and I was able to go to branch (WITHOUT the PIN letter), tell them I needed to change the PIN, and they gave me a little machine to swipe my card and input the PIN I wanted it to be. So yes, there are banks that allow you to change the PIN in the bank.....

I have done it there to. But you enter it in the machine. You swipe your debit card, then enter old pin #, then enter new pin #. Nobody in the bank has access to your pin #.

hear from the poster almost 2.5 months until now. he/she got caught and thought ppl forgot. and not to mention she got an agenda against black men, calling them niggers and stating why black women losin when it comes to dealing w/ black men, also when you dont nag/whine to your man, you dont care for him. yes, its a black man acting like a black woman and making women on the boards in here feel guilty 'cuz they dont have what she got....shit is batshit insane.

u still need to verify who you are in some form
ID, old pin, something.
i don't think a SS card would work. banks require photo ID to my knowledge

but they can change your pin number if they had access to your social security number, driver's license with your date of birth. All they did was call the 800 number on the back and had it reset. Especially if it was Bank of America, all they require is the debit/credit card number and your social security number NOTHING ELSE!!!

to change the pin and that the police had surveillence vid of that.

surveillance tape of using ATM and using credit card. But she doesn't bank with Bank of America, so I can't vouch for her banks procedure when it comes to telephone banking.
