no one is addressing warren's point above. the lipservice of "oh she was definitely wrong, but..." is inadequate. there is no critical thinking about what goes on the minds of girls who think they are insulated from physical violence by virtue of having two ovaries. there is no mention of the fact that this situation was created from her own design. there is no mention of the fact that the bystanders were all ok with her aggression towards him, tacitly allowing the situation to escalate to the point of what it became.

evolution has planted in our heads that ova are to be protected and that helped us advance as a species. thats different from inherent right and wrong. and objectively speaking, as an "enlightened" society, we should not be willing to turn a blind eye to violence depending on who its coming from or being directed towards, as all those bus passengers did before the driver finally had enough.

whats troubling is that she and others of her generation think this is acceptable public behavior.
i dont find someone hitting her *back* troubling in the least.
