SO rarely does somebody telling me to smile *just* want to see me smile
there's underlying motive that im really not in the mood for

'there you go! can i take you out sometime, id love to see that pretty smile some more!'

innocuous enough, sure, but if i don't want that from you, i dont want that from you, period, and that's my right
i get so tired of not being able to leave my house without having that discussion
it happens a LOT, and not cause im especially cute or anything
but because im a woman. that's it. that shit can be so dehumanizing when it happens with a crazy kind of frequency.

i know how it is. men gon holla & that's fine
im venting today
but overall, i dont like it and i dont HAVE to like it
im a southerner, i was born polite
but if i dont feel like talking to you, polite or not, i dont have to.
that is expected on the street & im not here for that at all.
