a lot of women will engage in unwanted conversation with a man just to be polite--we don't have to do that.
'i'm not interested' isn't rude.
me not trotting over to you like a dog after you've called out to me isn't rude.

leaving a woman alone when she expresses her disinterest isn't being polite, it's doing what you should have done in the first place.
