You can see he's coming over. You start slowing down. He opens his mouth and starts talking. He's got your number 5 or 6 minutes later.
Happens everyday.
But the key ingredient is your interest at some point.
If route not interested, its unwelcome.
If you're interested, its a great story to tell at the wedding reception.
