No, you didn't adopt an actual stance until other people

That's not true. This "implied operator" excuse is not
even a mathematical explanation.


You either use consistent rules or you don't.


My interpretation is consistent, yours is non-existent.


Plus, your way "using the computer" comes up with 288
whether you use the 2( or 2*( notation, so the computer
is wildly pathetically wrong on the basis of a non-mathematical
difference in notation.
