PEMDAS is teaching tool used to teach kids about the relationship
between numbers.

We use it to prepare kids to tackle fractions.

This is why after fractions, we almost never, ever, ever
use the division sign again, because we know, after learning
fractions, what a division sign is communicating.

PEMDAS is trying to give kids a shortcut. Its a cute shortcut,
and it works, but it doesn't teach kids about the relations
between numbers.

I don't need PEMDAS to get this right, because I understand
the relationship between numbers.
