Being that the grand scheme is to never have any of our OWN do jail time, we view these people as failures. Notable exceptions are those that were supposedly in jail for business crimes, but were actually at some island resort that nobody would want to escape from, anyways.

I'm pretty sure that the reason white moms will negotiate with their children is because they can afford it. With money comes choices. If you are poor you aren't going to give your child choices you can't afford to offer. It is more than food. I have watched TV and have seen them negotiate what they (4,5,6 year olds) what they want to where in the moring, etc. I have heard them in stores talking to them like adults. "Jimi we have to go. You father is waiting for us at work." Etc.

If you baby talk to your kids they will more likely be stupid I think. I plan on speaking to them like adults as well. I don't think that has anything to do with race however.

If you take all of the black folks of a certain age and under and ask them if they listen to rap, the answer is more often than not going to be yes.
