we need to recalibrate the predatory nature of dating and mating that we (mostly) socially setup

it's weird to set up a system like that and then get mad when (typically the low class) resort to telemarketing/batter's average type of hollers

the "smile" comments are distasteful and cold hollers are high risk (success rate and intrusion likelihood)

but since we're talking about how people are socialized...we are socialized to hunt...with every tool in our arsenal...

so it's like...we're being asked to break our social programming so that you can be more comfortable following yours

it's not THAT unreasonable a request but it doesn't solve the problem AT ALL
