i do too. names have meaning and to me that's important.

for example, when my wife was pregnant with my son we considered the name Jacob. looked up the meaning and it means "supplanter, underminer, heel catcher" as far as the Biblical meaning anyways. well, we decided that isn't what we wanted as a name to represent our son. and no offense to anyone named Jacob, just using that as an example. i say all that to say it goes beyond even just being creative with spellings etc. to me. names have meaning and, in my opinion, that should be taken into consideration.
