but I think the context of discussion, that is to say that the notion of putting homosexual behavior into some category of the norm rather than treating it as an alternative lifestyle, is problematic.
I understand that people are born that way, I understand that people are born with all manner of defects and deficiencies, it doesn't make them less than, but it does make them marginal and when the needs of the marginal few become the predominant norm, then there's a problem.
