that other post was a bit over the top but is how i feel about mg. i can't listen to it. and as i said in this thread i think worldwide is the best work of her catalog but only touches on her potential as an artist. the reason being she tamed down the writing and took it back to letting her voice ride the groove rather than trying to have a groove and force all this deep highfalutin artsy fartsy into it.

you'll also note the chronology. lib is before mg. and so perhaps my question is at the heart of my later (or this time prior) critique.
