I almost always gain something from his posts, and he's a sort of calming influence in that everyone respects him and doesn't engage in tomfoolery.

I do agree with what someone said earlier about him being a music nerd, but he seems to embrace that and in a way he's the music nerd in all of us.

That said, I do sometimes he takes himself a little too seriously. Lighten up johnbook!
