Maybe....

Prince is funny. Most of the subject matter of his albums is pretty insular. Like, the records have little to do w/the world outside of P's head. This album is even MORE insular and trapped in Prince's psyche than most.

For that reason it might not grab someone who's not already familiar w/his style. It's not very accessible. There are NO singles on the album at all.

I wouldn't introduce Prince to a newbie w/this record, that's for sure.
